The challenge
As Octopus Deploy grew rapidly and acquired an Israeli company, leaders across continents and cultures faced new complexities:
- Leading in a remote first multi-site environment
- Balancing fast growth with clarity and connection
- Building one leadership identity across teams that had never met in person
Solution
We created a two-level leadership journey for emerging leaders and senior directors. The program brought octopus leaders from Australia, Israel, and the U.S together in immersive off-sites using shared models like DiSC and PARIS. Through real conversations about growth and change, leaders started to see themselves as one connected system rather than separate sites.
Impact
The programs created a unified leadership language and mindset. Managers learned to normalize tensions that come with growth, turning friction between teams and regions into healthy collaboration. The work led to the formation of an expanded senior leadership forum, now shaping the company's strategic direction.
