The challenge
As a fast-growing, research-driven company built on deep academic expertise, Immunai faced a classic scale-up challenge: exceptional minds but limited shared managerial culture.
Leaders operated as individual experts rather than as one coherent leadership system.
The need was to:
- Develop the executive team as a cohesive, collaborative unit
- Equip directors with stronger leadership and ownership skills
- Build clarity, focus, and alignment around the company's vision and priorities.
Solution
We designed two parallel leadership journeys, one for the executive team and one for directors, that evolved side by side and ultimately converged into one extended leadership forum. The process spanned from New York to Prague, blending leadership development, strategic alignment, and honest dialogue. Using Shivoo, a digital reflection tool, each group explored its dynamics, focus, and growth. The Prague offsite brought both layers together for the first shared focus day, a collaborative process defining the organization's "must-win battles" for the year ahead. The journey concluded with Story Capsule, a powerful connective experience that brought people closer through stories, emotion, and shared meaning, transforming a two-day offsite into one collective memory.
